New in: Benefit Boi-ing

Benefit Boi-ing in #01

Every time i'm at Sephora i seem to be magically drawn to the Benefit counter. What can I say, I'm a sucker for cute packaging, and they have the most original packaging and names for their products by far.
I've been eyeing this concealer for quite a while now, so as i've recently lost my l'oréal one, i decided to splurge on something more high-end. I find that with concealers, you really do pay for quality. The drugstore concealers get the job done but they never seem to cover as much as i'd like them too, or they just look very cakey.
This concealer is supposed to be very high-coverage, so i really do have quite high expectations - we'll see if it can live up to them!

Zweibrücken - The Fashion Outlets

 Chocolates - Lindt
Vitamin E face mask, Aloe face wash, facial brush - The Body Shop
 Shorts & Sweatpants - Nike
Top, Skirt & Cardigan - All Saints

We went to this huge fashion outlet in Zweibrücken last saturday and i was amazed at how reduced the prices actually were! I did get quite a lot of things that I'm pretty excited about,so i thought I'd share with you what i bought.

The first store we went to was nike. I've always wanted a pair of those running shorts that are not too short but always found them to be too expensive-not an issue here. Usually sports shorts tend to be really short on me,not these ones!they're just the perfect length.
Same thing goes for jogging pants; the ones you find at h&m or similar shops are never long enough for my legs. These were reduced to 17€ - such a bargain!

All Saint was probably the brand I was most excited about, and rightly so. The clothes there were already extremely cheap compared to what you'd normally have to pay and they had an extra 30% on everything. I love love love the three things i got!

The Lindt store was absolutely crazy. So many different kinds of chocolat, i was in paradise.
I initially had about 10 different chocolates in my arms but ended up "only" buying these 4. Lindt is the best chocolate in my opinion, if you want something a bit more special. So freaking delicious!

I went into The Body Shop with the intention of buying a Christmas gift for my stepsister - and left with three skincare things for myself i didn't actually need. This seems to always happen when i enter any kind of body & skincare or makeup related shop. I do like the three products i got but don't find them to be mind blowing

Overall, I can only recommend this outlet, they have stores of all different price ranges and I do believe there's something for everyone!

Bourjois

About two weeks ago I had a bit of spare time while waiting for the boyfriend in the city, so I went into Paris 8.
I was initially looking for the Healthy Mix foundation, but they didn't have it. As i was already standing at the Bourjois counter I looked at what other things they had and picked up these two products.
Bourjois healthy balance powder in 53 light beige

I kinda bought this on a whim because none of my other powders really fit my skin tone anymore, however I actually ended up really liking it! Unlike the Maybelline 24hr powder I have, this one doesn't look cakey at all while still being quite mattifying. It doesn't offer too much coverage which is exactely what I wanted,so I can wear it on too of foundation,or on school days where I still want to have a tiny bit of make up in my face.

Bourjois bronzing primer

This was an impulse buy,I didn't even think I would like it that much but omg I freaking love this! I have to admit that the colour looks quite scary, but when you blend it out it just turns into this really nice bit of tan. I love that it's mattifying,so  you don't have to wear powder on top of it if you don't want to. I don't wear make up to school, so I find this makes me look a tad more awake and healthy and it literally takes 15 seconds to apply!

School's absolutely crazy at the moment, we have so much homework every single day and with piano, dancing and going to the gym I can't find a minute of free time on most days. Last week was horrible,I felt like i was under such huge pressure and everything was just so overwhelming. I think I just needed some time to get used to the luxembourgish school system again - it is quite different to Australia after all.

Anyways,I wish you all a great weekend and I'll try to post more next week!

New Balance

sneakers - New Balance

Initially, I went to Cologne with the intention of buying a new pair of sports shoes as I haven't actually owned my own pair for 5 years. That was when my feet grew to be the same size as my mum's and she gave me her old ones.
Until now, I haven't really needed a pair, I don't go for runs very often (or never) and there's no space in my school bag to take some, so I always use my normal sneakers in sports. As I've started to go to the gym now, I thought maybe now would be the time to finally own some sports shoes that actually fit me (my feet are no longer the same size as my mum's, but one size larger).

Well, the reason why I didn't end up buying sports shoes are these New Balance sneakers. I saw them at a shop called Kauf Dich Glücklich and instantly fell in love with them. My mum made me choose between an actual pair of sports shoes and these sneakers..I guess my decision is obvious.
They didn't have them in my size though, so the first thing I did when I got up the next day was order them on Zalando.

I absolutely love getting clothes I've ordered online cause it always kind of feels as if I'm receiving a gift (even if I've paid for half of it).
These shoes are sooo comfortable and they go with almost all of my fall clothes.

Have I already mentioned that I'm in love with these shoes?

Cologne Haul

It's become like a family tradition to go to Cologne in the fall to do some shopping. Every single year, my brother joins us, and every single time he seems to forget that we're there to go shopping, so he gets annoyed after we've only been to like 3-4 shops. It's alright though cause we split up after a few shops anyways, noticing it just takes far too long if we stay together so my brother goes with my stepdad and everything's fine.
I love shopping in Germany, the people in the shops are so much friendlier than in Luxembourg and the shops in general are much more up my alley.

Jeans - Cheap Monday

The first shop I go to whenever I'm in Cologne, without a failure, is always Weekday. First of all, they carry Cheap Monday jeans, which are basically one of the only two brands of Jeans I ever wear. I already have two black pairs and a dark blue one so this time I opted for a dark grey pair. I just freaking love the way these fit, they're high waisted, skin tight, and with the different lengths never too long or short.

Knit Sweater - MTWTFSS Weekday

The second thing I bought at Weekday was a dark purple, chunky knit sweater. Because I went on my exchange to Australia last January, I didn't buy many sweaters last winter (trying to save money), so now I definitely need a few new ones. This one is pretty long and very loose so it'll look great with leggings or skinny jeans.
I'm sure I could've bought more in that shop, but the interior design, depressing music(in my opinion) and the way it is set up overwhelms me every time and I end up leaving before I've even looked through everything. I really wish they had less clothes in there or displayed them differently.

Boots - Vagabond

One thing I definitely wanted to buy in Cologne were some fall booties and i immediately fell in love with these ones! As they have a small heel, I wasn't completely sure whether or not I should buy them as my staple fall boots, but I'm so glad I did! Because of the platform, they're extremely comfortable and the chunky heel just adds something a bit different to every outfit.

Next we went to Peek & Cloppenburg, which is a huge store that carries a ton of different brands.
It's always an issue for me to find a winter coat that i actually like: too long, too short, too wide, too much fur, or the wrong shade of khaki- I always seem to find something I don't like about it. This time though, I found a coat I really liked after only 5 minutes - you should've seen the look on my mother's face.
I initially wanted a parka or a woolen coat - well, this is neither. It's a weird hybrid of a leather jacket, a parka and sheepskin, and probably not everyone's cup of tea but I really like the way it looks, it's not too sporty, still casual.

Backpack - Bellfield

When we were going towards the cashier's to pay for my jacket, I saw this backpack and thought it'd be perfect for school! The pattern on the front pocket is just soo cute and this will be a nice change on those days were I don't feel like carrying a bag.

I saw this little boutique called Kauf Dich Glücklich at the very beginning of our trip and I simply had to go in because of the name. It literally means buy yourself happy - how adorable is that?
They have the cutest clothes ever, i only wish they were a bit cheaper so I could've bought more.
The one thing I bought was this dark grey/black cardigan, I just fell in love withe way this looks on. I'll definitely do an Outfit of the Day with this soon!
You should definitely check out their online shop if you live in Europe.

I am so happy with everything I got and I'm sure I'll be wearing some of these pieces religiously.
